LAMDA is one the areas in which Alma Studios specialise. We have an extraordinary track record and in the last 15 years every student we have entered has passed, high merits and distinctions being the norm.

Our LAMDA service is a bespoke service, a one to one approach tailored towards the needs of each individual candidate. As a result, on average the amount of tuition is less than what you might expect if you are used to group study in the approach to LAMDA training.

Entry level – 4 hours
Level One – 6 hours
Level Two (Intermediate) – 7 hours
Level Three (Medals) – Bronze – 10 hours
Silver – 12 hours
Gold – 14 hours

As previously mentioned the above tuition hours are an average only. Experienced students will inevitably come in under this time, students who are perhaps less experienced or less confident may take longer.

No exam is undertaken until a full discussion has taken place with the student and/or parent.

All the above mentioned exams are part of the National Curriculum framework with the medals carrying UCAS points.

The LAMDA exam session takes place in Godalming, where we teach, our beautiful venue can be totally manipulated into a theatre space that has a backstage area and waiting area. The whole event is managed by our team complete with costume, props, hair and make up.

Parents are welcome to participate or disappear and every student from 4 to adult is made to feel that for the 45 minutes or so that they are with us the entire day is for them. We are aiming to not just pass vocational examinations but to create memories, not least of a shared experience that will last a life time.

Private tuition is held at Alma Studios.
